Self-promotion or advertising
The Facebook Group Manette Neighborhood Coalition (MNC) is a Community Group with the primary objective to accommodate Manette residents, businesses, and those who frequent Manette.
Who is allowed to post self-promotion or advertisements?
Members of the Manette Business Association
Private sales within Manette* are permitted.
Community members within Manette* seeking service recommendations.
*Manette is defined as Sea to Sea (Port Washington Narrows to Port Orchard) and Sea to Stone (Point Herron to Stone Way) as approved by the Board.
Stay on topic
Posts should be relevant to the Manette neighborhood. Off-topic threads may be removed.
No hate speech or bullying
It is important to ensure that everyone feels safe. Any form of bullying is prohibited, and disrespectful comments regarding race, ethnicity, age, gender, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, disability, or economic status are not allowed.
No for the attention of posts
Personal discussions or "for the attention of" posts referencing other forum members will be removed. Utilize the Private Message feature, chat, or email instead.
Suspicious Persons & Crime Reporting
We do not allow any suspicious persons or crime reporting on our page.
Respect our Administrators and Moderators
If an Administrator or Moderator instructs you to cease an activity, comply to avoid being banned. If you have a disagreement with an action taken by an administrator or moderator, reach out to them privately. Alternatively, issues can be brought to the MNC BOD by email.
Suspension or termination
To request a review of your suspended account, email why you believe it should be reinstated. The MNC BOD will review the request.
